Ally was raised in the Northeast, and began fly fishing early in the lakes and rivers of upstate NY after inheriting the bamboo rods of her Grandfather, John J Flynn. Ally was drawn to Montana first, in 1991, when she came to Red Lodge to participate in an Outward Bound Course.  Ally and her husband and business partner Dan married in 2000 and moved to Missoula, where they had two daughters and started Whiskey Leatherworks. Whiskey Leatherworks is a family-owned leather goods company that supplies goods directly to consumers as well as to Fly Shops and Distilleries for resale. Ally has been in the business world for 25 years. Most recently she came on board with Dan as the Co-Owner of Whiskey Leatherworks in charge of Sales and Marketing.

The skills that Ally has to share with the Guide Relief Program is a deep knowledge of outdoor industry sales and marketing, and is grateful to be a part of this board and to be able to give back to a community of people so important to the economy of Montana."
