Relief Fund
The Fund
In the spring of 2020, March 24th to be exact, and eight days after the shutdown of the country had been initiated, the question was asked: ‘I wonder whether it’d be possible and worthwhile to set up some kind of emergency for out-of-work guides…'?” The answer is yes and the wheels were put into motion!
The Guide Relief Fund was established to financially support fishing guides in personal or professional crisis by the way of small grants. We are excited to have begun fulfilling our mission of supporting guides on and off the water in 2022. As a result of the historic flooding of the Yellowstone River in June, we began accepting and awarding grants to guides who lost incoming during this time. We are excited and proud that we have been able to assist these guides, but our work is just beginning!
