Tessa Fontaine

Tessa Fontaine has a background in fund raising through her time managing the Young Friends of the Brandywine, the former landing spot for young volunteers at The Brandywine Conservancy in Chadds Ford, PA. She is the founder of Principle of Fontaine Reserve, a group that works with families to set up family offices to manage their properties and philanthropic interests. She splits her time between Montana, Pennsylvania and Florida.
Tessa spent her early years in the wilderness areas of Maryland, West Virginia and Vermont. Her first exposer to fly fishing was in Alaska 1983, when her group ran out of food on the Yukon and fly fished for breakfast, lunch and dinners. She continues to explore wilderness areas in Alaska and the Rockies. Tessa has led backpacking trips in Alaska, Glacier and Yellowstone.
Tessa’s older son, Rob, is a fly fishing guide out of Hamilton Montana. Tessa has been supporting guides on her own for the last decade both in Montana and the east coast. Through Rob, she has learned the ins and outs of the Fly Fishing Industry especially as it relates to guides.
